Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Russia traditionally will be a partner of international business conference InRussia-2017.

Belgian-Luxembourg economic union is a perspective investor and partner for Russia. The largest investment was in construction of the complex of Russian- Belgian oil and chemistry enterprise RusVinyl LLC in Nizhniy Novgorod Region. Investment amount was 1,5 billion euro in total. Planned production capacity is 300 thousand tons of suspension pvc, 30 thousand tons of emulsion pvc and 225 thousand tons of caustic soda. The project is included in a list of core investment projects of The development plan gas and oil chemistry of Russia for the period till 2030.

This year Belgian company Drylock Technologies launched in SEZ Alabuga a plant of hygiene products with a total cost of 120 million euro. The enterprise produces hygiene products for children and adults and also for people who need special products. Since 2016 the company works on localization of material base.

Earlier production company of Bekaert Group the leader of the World market and technology in the field of steel wire processing and coating in 2010 openned a plant in SEZ Lipetsk. In 2012 the company became the largest producer of metal cord in Russia.

The largest Russian-Belgian joint investment project of The Lhoist Group on lime production was implemented in Mikhailovsk (Sverdlovsk region). Till 2020 ProLime, Ltd. intends to invest about 5 billion rubles. After erecting the building since 2017 till 2019 the company plans to increase investments in productive capacities. Total investments on this stage is about 1 billion rubles.

Belgian company Puratos specialized at production of ingredients for confectionary production and in 2016 openned its second plant in Podolsk.

Nearly all the range of company’s production – nondairy creamer, stuffing, bakery and confectionary mixes - is produced nowadays in Russia.

Luxembourg company Astron (recently known under the brand Lindab), that carries out designing, production and building construction made of steel constructions and built several dozens of large projects for international companies and has its own plant of steel constructions in Yaroslavl region. On 14th of October 2016 during the first international business conference InRussia-2016 Astron and the Association of industrial parks of Russia signed an agreement on special conditions for resident companies and managing companies – AIP members.

Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce was established in 1974 and today is one of the most powerful bilateral chambers of Belgian entrepreneurs with foreign countries.

Main directions of Belgian investments are chemical industry, pharmaceutics, aircraft building industries and car parts manufacturing.

In March 2017 with the participation of Trade representative of the Russian Federation in Belgium Anatoliy Gorshkov the Association of industrial parks and Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce signed an official agreement. Organizations agreed to promote their members interests including partner searching for cooperative investment projects implementation in Russia.

InRussia conference will be a platform for continuing contacts between Russian business with partners from Benelux countries as all the members of Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce are invited to participate in the event.
